The ACN business opportunity contains a multi-level compensation plan with a payout of roughly 15-20% of every dollar spent on their products. There are several reasons why the compensation plan consists of such a low payout percentage. The main issue with the services ACN is selling is that they are all services in a very competitive market. For example Vonage offers digital phone service at under $25/month. Because of all the technology companies competing, there is a very low profit margin. Some people do okay with this type of compensation plan, but most struggle to maintain an active residual income that they can rely upon due to the widespread competition and low percentage of payout.

In conclusion, ACN seems to have a decent product line, but the comp plan would rate as very poor according to industry averages. If you don't mind having to get 100-500 people on your team just to make a $1000 residual check each month, then the ACN business might be the right fit for you.
